Bodylift

The bodylift is the indication for people who have lost a lot of weight, or after one or more pregnancies. The bodylift aims to redrape the silhouette by correcting excess skin in the lower part of the body.

The lower bodylift acts on:

abdomen and pubis
hips
the outer side of the thighs (saddlebags)
the buttocks.

General anaesthesia
Duration of the intervention:  2h to 3h
Recovery: 10 to 15 days, plan 2 to 4 weeks off work.

Pre-operative assessment: blood test, lung X-ray for smokers and an electrocardiogram for people over 45 years old.

The incision will go all the way around the waist.

As with the abdominoplasty, there will also be a transposition of the navel. Of course, the stomach muscles will also be tightened as for the abdominoplasty.
